This Thanksgiving, Metropolitan is hosting a 9:00am shotgun start that will allow you to enjoy a round of golf on the morning and finish in plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your days' festivities.
The package rate of $60 per player covers green fees, cart rental, and practice balls for the range. All players must be checked in by 8:30am, to ensure a prompt start at 9:00am.

OAKLAND, CA – Leon Gilmore, Executive Director, Charles Schwab Cup Championship, announced today that the tournament continues its practice of making significant contributions to worthwhile causes. “I’m happy to announce on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10:30 am, we will be presenting a donation of $5000 to the newest prospect for a The First Tee Chapter in the Bay Area, The First Tee of Oakland,” said Gilmore. “Please join us for this momentous occasion as Champions TOUR officials gather at Metropolitan Golf Links to present a check for start up funding for the Oakland Chapter.”

Had my first private lesson with Gregg today and it was great! He helped me understand what might be wrong with my swing and I now have to practice what was learned. I will be living on the driving range at Metro, so look forward to seeing me there a lot after work and on the weekends. I signed up for 5 lessons and so did my friend. We are both so excited. I really like Gregg a lot. Very cool guy!
